All orders are dispatched with Royal Mail, offering excellent tracking services. However, after the Royal Mail cyber attack, the reporting of parcel locations has changed. Updates may not indicate the parcel's airport location. Tracking can be accessed through Etsy's order history or using the Royal Mail tracking number.

 

For international customers, postage costs vary based on order value. Ensure you choose the correct postage insurance rate from the delivery dropdown during ordering. Options include Tracked & Signed with insurance limits of £20, £50, or £250.

 

In case of loss by the Postal service, the maximum claim is limited to the selected insurance value. Etsy Protection is available for orders under £250. It's crucial to make claims for damaged or lost items with your postal service or through Etsy seller and buyer protection.

If the order value exceeds the selected insurance level, compensation beyond that level is not provided by Etsy, the Postal Services, or Trash Compactor.

 

Kindly be aware that surpassing the £250 parcel limit may result in processing delays. For instance, if your order totals £1000, it is akin to placing four separate orders, each with a value of £250. This leads to various complications.

 

Firstly, it affects the timeframe for fulfilling orders, given the additional workload. Moreover, exceeding the £250 insurance limit per parcel, whether covered by Etsy, myself, or Royal Mail, poses risks. While I'm usually willing to cover slight overages, excessive amounts that surpass the insurance value pose a considerable risk for a small business like mine in case of loss or damage.

 

In some instances, for larger accepted orders, I might divide the items into multiple boxes to align with the insurance coverage and cover the extra postage costs personally. However, if a discount code is applied, this becomes impractical, as covering all the additional postage expenses would mean working at a loss for me. In such cases, I may find it more feasible to cancel the order rather than absorbing the cost of separate shipments.

 

While order cancellations are not ideal, I trust you understand the importance of adhering to the £250 postage limit per parcel. If your order exceeds this limit, anticipate a request for additional postage before your items are dispatched. Your cooperation is appreciated in maintaining this limit for smooth processing.
