I did have exciting plans to introduce exclusive offers by establishing a membership list through this site, but it's not really work, as the point was to eliminate the reliance on Etsy discounts, but as Etsy does use discounts automatically I dont really have much control over what goes out and when, which is a bit frustrating but it's the way it is unfortunately, so discounts are based on your Etsy activity and behaviours, so some algorithm somewhere is calling the shots!
On Etsy, discounts are determined by your activity and order history. Various types include temporary Sales, Coupon codes entered at checkout, and Automatic discounts applied when specific criteria are met.
It's essential to understand that discounts are set by individual sellers, and terms may vary. To discover discounts on Etsy, explore the "Sales and Special Offers" section, check listings for sale prices or coupon codes, or search for shops offering automatic discounts.
Notably, Trash Compactor doesn't employ blanket discounts due to challenges with Etsy's postage calculations on orders with multiple items. Instead of inflating postage costs, I use this as a discount system to maintain reasonable shipping rates.
As you shop, a few discounts are automatically generated and most times auto added:

Favoriting an item also triggers a discount code.

Signing up for Etsy's mailing list, sends you promotional random Coupon codes, these are triggered by events and the time of the year.
